2012 Favourites!

Hey all!
So the first thing i thought when I came home, after a terrible first day of school, was how much I wanted to blog. So, I decided to let you all know what my beauty/fashion/skin-care stand outs have been this year! I decided to do 12, as I felt it made sense hence it being the conclusion of 2012.

1) Clinique's Even Better Foundation
This year, the amount of foundations I tried and tested was embarrasing! I just kept on searching for that perfect one, and it wasn't until this summer I found it. Clinique's Even Better is perfection, suiting dry, dry combination, normal and possibly oily combination skin and providing a dewy, fresh finish. The coverage can be light if you were to use a small amount, buffed in, however you can build up to full.

2) MAC Mineralise Charged Water
This product... oh my goodness! I was desperate for something that could stop the natural flaking on my skin after applying face makeup, in particular powder, which was always a challenge for me. I decided that this would be the kind of finishing spray that would benefit me, and suit my skin tone! I can't explain how beautiful it leaves the skin after a few sprits'. A must have for me everyday!

3) MAC Warm Soul
The blush on the left is MAC's Mineralised blush warm soul and I honestly have no idea what I could do without it! I've really drifted from the pinks, and I have been adoring this peachy/bronze/slightly pink shimmery blush. It's great as I can almost use it as a bronzer and blush in one, which is fanatastic!
4) MAC Lady Blush
Lady Blush is a great cream blush that I really enjoy stippling on to create a flushed cheek, which I find flattering and complimentary to most lips and eye looks!

5) Rimmel Scandal Eyes (show off)
I was sufferimg from extreme beauty product depression after finishing my Benefit's Their Real mascara and finding no luck with what the drugstore had to offer. That was until I found Scandal Eyes. It is so simmilar to Their Real! It's a great lengthening and volumising mascara, with a great plastic wand that has a ball at the end: meaning all lashes can be accessed.
6) MUA Eyeshadow (19- Matte)
My eyebrows are very important in my daily routine and for a year and a half now, I have been adoring the mua eyeshadow in 19. I love the pigmentation, £1 cost and perfect colour match.
7) MAC Coffee Eyeliner
Since I got coffee, I have used it most days, as not only does it glide on, but brown is so much softer and more flattering compared to black. It's a great shade of brown that is neutral, rather than redish, which is always unflattering!

8) MAC Plumful Lipstick
This year, similarly with eyeshadows, I've been using a ton of lipsticks! All my lighter shades have been equally used/ or equally as good but one lipstick has completely stood out! MAC's Plumful is insane, it is a beautiful berry plum colour, with enough pink, purple and red in to suite every skin tone, no doubt about it. With a lip liner underneath it can be very intense, or blotted on it is a soft berry which I love.

9) Real Techniques Buffing Brush
I have never used such a luxorious brush in my life! It creates a flawless finish and I can honestly find myself using it every day for foundation (and powder!). I could not recomend this more, it is dense, good quality and an excellent shape.

10) E45 Cream
I've constantly struggled with finding a good moisturiser that isn't drying, too greasy or too expensive! E45 cream is the only thing that actually works on my difficult skin! So, I was reccomended by many to look at trying E45 as an alterantive. It genuinely does work and is easily the best moisturiser I've tried, and I have tried a lot!

11) Forever 21 Studded Shirt
The features of my first fashion favorite are exquisite, I cannot explain how much I love it! The material is sheer and cream, it feels light yet strong and good quality whilst the intricate studs are perfectly spaced and what's great is that there aren't too many studs, which would make a tacky look.(excuse the extreme yellowness)

 12) Topshop Black Skater Skirt
Unfortunately I couldn't upload a picture but I could not explain how many time I have worn my skater skirt. I wear it out for meals, casual days, dressed up days- anything! I love how flattering it is and how many things you can wear it with! Here is a link of the skirt click me!

I hope you all have a fantastic day and have enjoyed this very long post about my overally favourites of the year!
